When you decide to buy a computer, the choices can be difficult.
Here are some things to consider:
- What are you going to use your computer for?
- Just for email
- Games
- Pictures and video
- Do I want a PC or Laptop?
All these things matter. If you just want email, then a basic computer will do.
However, if you are a game player or store lots of pictures, you will want to upgrade to a more powerful computer.
**Rule of thumb:
Buy the most memory and speed, your pocket book will allow.
You might consider having your computer built. It is less expensive,
and you can eliminate the "junk", demo programs, games you do not want, etc.
Here in Orange County, California, I would recommend the PC Club.
There are several locations. They will ask you what you are using your computer for, and build to your specs.
Other companies are:
Dell and MicroCenter.
